Gladsome Lucia

I recently captured this collection of Lucia singing her favorite songs. These also happen to be the three songs she makes me sing every night as I put her to bed. It's proof that she's listening!

I hope her little voice makes you as happy as it makes me.

I'd like to point out that there's more culture in this little collection of tunes than you might recognize at first listen. This is Tchaikovsky via Disney's Sleeping Beauty; Saint-Saens via the mice in Babe; and "O Gladsome Light," the oldest known Christian hymn still in use today. Records show that "O Gladsome Light" was being sung as early as the third century. Saint Basil the Great (330-379) refers to it as an old and cherished hymn.
